大阪城の周りを歩いてみる " Take a walk around Osaka Castle. "

まだ９月は晴れていれば日差しが強いので、お城の東側の森の中を通り抜けるとしよう。

If it's still sunny in September, The sun will be strong, so let's go through the forest on the east side of the castle.

大阪のど真ん中なのに静寂な場所です

A quiet place in the middle of Osaka.

歩いていると時折東外堀から城壁が見える

As you walk, you can occasionally see the castle wall from the east outer moat.

As

城内の北東の端あたりだけど、向こうに見えるビルはホテルニューオオタニとNECの関西支社のビルかな?

It's around the northeast corner of the castle, but the buildings you can see over there are Hotel New Otani and NEC's Kansai branch office building.

 ツィンタワービルの片割れもちょっとだけ見える 

One half of the Twin towers is also visible.

ミラーガラスの窓に大阪城ホールも少しだけ映っています。

A little bit of Osaka Castle Hall is also reflected in the mirror glass window.

これからシリーズで大阪城と周辺を紹介していきますね。

お城を空撮する " Aerial view of Osaka castle "

大阪(伊丹)国際空港へアプローチする時は、大阪城の上空を飛ぶことが多い。

When approaching Osaka(Itami) International Airport, It often flies over Osaka Castle.

だから僕の撮影した写真集には大阪城はたくさんある。

That's why there are so many photos of Osaka Castle in my photo collection.  

お濠の南側から北へ向かっていくとお城の天守閣が見えてくる

If you go north from the south side of the moat, you will see the castle tower.

内堀の北の端にある極楽橋も見えて来る。

You can also see the Gokuraku-Bridge at the northern end of the inner moat.

大阪ビジネスパークの高層ビル群も見える・・・・・そこには娘の働くビルもある

You can also see the skyscrapers of Osaka Business Park... There is also a building where my daughter works. 

地上から(大阪城内の石垣越しに)飛行機が大阪国際空港へアプローチしているのが見えます。

You can see an airplane approaching Osaka International Airport from the ground(over the stone walls of Osaka Castle). 

 

夏の終わりに " At the end of Summer!! "

もうすぐ８月も終わってしまいます。

August will be over soon.

酷暑の期間も過ぎたのか、少しだけ風が涼しくなってきました。

 Perhaps the period of intense heat has passed, but the wind has become a little cooler. 

夏の花々は、まだまだ原色を誇って競争をしています。

Summer flowers still compete with the primary colors.

空も青いし、緑も豊か・・・・・・・これぞ南国

The sky is blue, the greenery is rich,......This is tropical country.

秋の声にはまだ早いでしょうか?

Is it still early for the voice of autumn?

真夏の空 " Midsummer Sky! "

暑い日々が続いています。

The Hot days continue.

もう学校も夏休みが終わった所も多いようですね。

It seems that there are already many places where summer vacation has ended.

ビーチも先日はちょっと人出が少なかったようです。

The beach also seems to have been a little less crowded the other day.

また週末が来ますので、夏の名残を楽しむ人出があるのかな・・・・。

There will be another weekend, so I wonder if there will be people who enjoy the remnants of summer. 

少し暗くなった感じがしたけど、振り向くと太陽が入道雲に遮られたようです。

It felt a little dark, but when I turned around, the sun seemed to be blocked by the entrance clouds.  

あれがこちらに来るとスコールのような雨が降り出しそうですね。

When it comes here, it is likely train like a squall.

毎日、夕方だけ振ってくれると、涼しくなって夜は過ごしやすいんですけど。

If you shake it only in the evening every day, it will cool down and it will be easier to spend the night.

９月まではこの暑さが続くのでしょうか?

Will this heat continue until September?

また、台風が来ないといいけど。

大阪から宮崎へ " From Osaka to Miyazaki "

大阪(伊丹)国際空港、ここは僕が社会人として育つために飛んできた場所。

もう長い長い付き合いです。

Osaka (Itami) International Airport, this is the place where I flew to grow up as a member of society.

It's been a long, long time relationship.

今は娘があの街のど真ん中で仕事をしている。

Now my daughter is working in the middle of that city.

僕が出て来たころは、高いビルはほとんどなかった。

今は、高層ビルの建築ラッシュが泊まらない、もちろん娘も今は高層ビルで働いているし、高層ビルのマンションで暮らしている。

When I came out, there were very few tall buildings.

Right now, the construction rush of high-rise buildings is not overnight, and of course my daughter now works in a high-rise building and lives in a high-rise apartment.

僕は働き始めた頃は、平屋の安アパートの一部屋で暮らし始めてました。

When I first started working, I started living in a one-story apartment building.

九州へ帰ってくると、山や海や田んぼに我が町は囲まれている。

この写真に写っているのは国立大学法人、宮崎大学です。医学部だけは少し離れた場所にあります。

When I return to Kyushu, my town is surrounded by mountains, the sea, and rice fields.

The person in this photo is the University of Miyazaki, a national university corporation. Only the Faculty of Medicine is a little further away.

僕はここの卒業生ではないが、大学の評価委員や関連役員も務めさせてもらったことがある。

I'm not a graduate of this school, but I've served as a university evaluation committee member and related board member.

飛行機で宮崎へ帰って来た時に観るこの景色、自転車であの山々の懐を超えて山の向こうの街へ行っていた、少しだけ僕の体を強靭にしてくれた。

This view that I saw when I flew back to Miyazaki, I went beyond the bosom of those mountains by bicycle to the city beyond the mountains, and it strengthened my body a little.

この街は、東京や大阪と比べると何にも無い街だけど、すさんだ僕の心を浄化してくれる場所、綺麗で素敵な場所です。

This city is nothing compared to Tokyo and Osaka, but it is a place that purifies my heart, a beautiful and wonderful place.

海外を含めいろんなとこに移り住んだけど。大阪は僕をビジネスマンとして育て上げてくれた場所。南九州は僕の心を豊かにしてくれる場所。

I moved to many places, including overseas. Osaka is the place that raised me as a businessman. Minami Kyushu is a place that enriches my heart.

 

暑い夏は海で過ごそう " Spend the hot summer at sea. "

もう8月９日、真夏の日々です。

It's already August 9th, and it's midsummer days.

日本国内では最高気温40℃を超える場所もあるようですが、ここ宮崎の私の住んでいる地域は海に近いせいか、30℃～35℃が最高気温になってます。

Japan in Japan, there seem to be places where the maximum temperature exceeds 40°C, but here in Miyazaki, perhaps because of its proximity to the sea, 30°C ~ 35°C is the maximum temperature.

いずれもグラビア写真などを参考に描いた海と美人です。

Both are the sea and beauty drawn with reference to gravure photographs.

麦わら帽子をかぶった素敵な女性が、綺麗な海辺を歩く姿もいいですね。

It is also nice to see a lovely woman wearing a straw hat walking along the beautiful seaside.

夏の風物詩 " Summer Traditions "

夏と言えばあの打ち上げ花火。

Speaking of summer, that fireworks display.

豪快で綺麗で・・・・やっぱり観たくなりますね。 

It's gorgeous and beautiful... I want to see it.

孫娘たちと家で楽しむ花火も素晴らしい(^^♪

南国のパラダイス " Tropical Paradise!! "

前回に続いて、今日も台湾の風景。

Following on from last time, the scenery of Taiwan is still here today.

有名な貿易港「基隆」。

The famous trading port "Keelung".

手前の埠頭には軍艦が停泊しています。

A warship is anchored at the wharf in the foreground.

港の奥の方を眺めると、中国の豪華客船が停泊中

Looking at the back of the port, a Chinese luxury cruise ship is at anchor.

この風景は、何度も仕事で訪ねた台湾、最後は２０１５年に娘と一緒に観光しました。

This scenery is Taiwan that I visited many times for work, and the last time I went sightseeing with my daughter in 2015.

あの台湾が、今、中国本土政府と緊張状態にあるのではないかと思います。

I believe that Taiwan is currently in a state of tension with the Chinese mainland government.

きっと、この景色を見下ろしているあの観音像はこの国の平和を願ていると思います。

I am sure that the Guanyin statue overlooking this scenery wishes for peace in this country.
 

あの懐かしい風景を " I want to see that nostalgic scenery again. "

 COVID-19が蔓延し始めたから2年半を過ぎました、まだ一向に収まる気配がない。

 It's been two and a half years since COVID-19 began to spread, and it still shows no signs of abating.

海外旅行が少し緩和されてきましたが、この状況では二の足を踏みます。

International travel has eased a bit, but in this situation I am too anxious to go anywhere.

そんな今、思い出すのが台湾の風景

この自然の彫刻は、あと１００年は持たないだろうと言われています

台湾北東部の野柳の海岸の風景がなつかしい。

The scenery of the coast of Yehliu Geopark in northeastern Taiwan is familiar.

かっては中国本土からの観光客もとても多かったこの場所。

In the past, there were many tourists from mainland China.

今はまだ閑散とした状態が続いているはずです

It should still be quiet right now.

世界中にまん延しているウィルスが収束して、また、世界を緊張させている侵攻(戦争)の恐怖が無くなり、平和に世界中を行き来できるよう本当に祈っています。

I really pray that the virus that is spreading around the world will be brought under control, that the fear of invasion (war) that is tensing the world will disappear, and that we will be able to travel around the world peacefully.
