３月ももう中旬になりつつありますね

It's being also already the middle ten days in March, isn't it?

今日も僕の描いた絵でご挨拶です

You're also greeting with the picture I drew today.

最初は赤ワインを飲むレディ 

The beginning is the lady who drinks red wine.

最近、誰ともお酒を飲んでいないので

無性に飲みたくなるときがあります

I'm drinking liquor with no one recently, so there is explanation I feel like accepting with someone anyhow.

僕の若い頃は、一人でも毎日のように夜の街を飲み歩いていました

The time when I'm young, by oneself, the town which is night like every day, I was going barhopping.

今は止めましたがタバコも吸ってましたね

It was just stopped, but I was also smoking.

ちょっと悪ぶっていた頃のあの時を思い出します

That time of the time when I acted like vice a little is remembered.

猫の絵 "Picture of the cat"

僕の家では猫は飼ってないが、時折猫たちが僕を訪ねてくる 

A cat isn't kept at my house, but cats are now and then visiting me.

僕の小さいころに田舎では猫を飼っていた

A cat was kept in the country in my kid.

雄猫だったけど、彼にはあまり餌をやらなかった

It was a tomcat, but I didn't feed him so much.

何故かというと、彼は猫族の本能を持っていたのか、よくネズミを狩っていた

Because whether he had the instinct of the cat family was often hunting a mouse.

朝、僕が起きると布団の上で食事をしていた（食べていたのはネズミ）

When I got up in the morning, I was having a meal on the sheets (for the one which was being eaten, mouse).

びっくりして猫を追いだし、布団を洗うのが大変だった

It was serious to be surprised, drive a cat and wash a sheets.

野生本能をむき出しの猫だったのだろう

The wild instinct, it would be a bare cat.

車を走らせていると、橋の上に似た猫がいるなと思い呼びかけたら

A car, dispatch if if I think there is a similar cat on the bridge and call.

僕の車に飛び乗って来て、一緒に家に帰ったことがある

I have boarded my car, have come and have gone home together.

１０年以上飼っていたが、いつの間にか僕の家から消えていた

It was kept for more than 10 years, but I disappeared from my house all too soon.

花見は行きましたか "Was a full-blown cherry tree seen?"

今日は大阪の桜 

Today is a cherry tree in Osaka.

静かに花見を楽しむのはいいでしょう

It's a good thing to enjoy flower viewing quietly.

大阪の真ん中、大阪城の付近では桜が満開でみんなを楽しませてくれます

full-blown cherry tree always delights everyone around the center in Osaka and Osaka-jo.

今回の写真は娘が撮った写真なのです

This picture is the picture my daughter took.

 厳しい冬の寒さも、ここのところ温かい日が続いています

Warm day also follows the severe winter coldness recently.

もう春なのでしょうか

海に行くと軽装の若者たちが遊んでいます

The lightly dressed young are playing at a sea.

青い空と青い海

The blue sky and blue sea!

青島神社のあるあの島には参拝と風景を楽しむ客が増えてきているみたいです

I think that the visitor who enjoys worship and the landscape is increasing in that island with Aoshima shrine.

浜辺で魚を釣る釣り人も

The fisherman who fishes fish at a beach.

ここ南国、宮崎はもう春なんです

The tropics and Miyazaki are already Spring here.

監視してるの "Watching"

 温かいので海に行ってみました

 It was warm, so I went to a sea.

沖を航行する貨物船に手前に小さな漁船

The fishing boat small at the front in the cargo boat which sails the offing.

いつもの風景です

The usual landscape.

何を捕っているのかなとカメラをズームしてみたら

What is being caught, if a zoom lens will do a photography.

船には「監視船」と言う看板と旗が

The sign and the flag which say to a ship "guard boat".

望遠鏡でずっと沖の方を観ています（監視してるの）

The offing is being judged from a telescope (the one which is being watched).

物価はどうなってる? "What happens to prices? "

この写真は、５年前のシアトルの写真だけど、今は人通りはどうなっていますか 

This picture is a picture of Seattle 5 years before, but what happens to traffic now?

まだ外出自粛が続いて人通りはまだまばらでしょうか

Going out self-control still continues, and are the pedestrians still sparse?

僕も食料などの買い出しはよく行きます、さっき冷蔵庫を空けたら牛乳が全くないのでこれからまた買い物に出かけます。

If just now's refrigerator where I often go to wholesale purchase of food, too is emptied, there is no milk at all, so I'll go out to shopping again now.

１年前から比べると、私の住んでいる地域はやはり食品の加工品などは３～5パーセントは高くなっているような気がしますが、貴方の地域ではどうなっていますか?

仮面の魅力 "Charm of a mask "

仮面と言えば様々な国で仮面をかぶって踊ったり演劇をしたりする

When saying a mask, Masquerade by the various countries, dance and do a drama.

イタリアでは有名な仮面フェスティバルもある 

There is also a famous mask festival in Italy.

僕もだいぶ昔のことだけどイタリアで仮面をかぶった道化師がコントを演じているのを観たことがある

It's the past a lot, but I have seen the clown who masqueraded in Italy performing the conto, too.

仮面は自分の顔を隠し、他人に知られず本性を表せるという魅力もあるかもしれない

A mask hides its face and isn't learned about by others, and there may be also charm which can show the true character.

でも、先日テレビの番組で、コンメディア・ディラルテの稽古と風刺劇を観たけど

But they're Commedia dell'arte the other day by a program of a television, a rehearsal, and, a caricature play was seen.

その表情の豊かさや性格付けにとても興味を覚えた

I was quite interested in the abundance of the expression and character bill.

そのしぐさによって、その仮面にいろんな性格を植え付ける

The various characters are planted in the mask by the action.

仮面の素晴らしさを改めて感じ取った

Wonderful of the mask was sensed once more.

そしてまた、自分でもユニークな仮面を創ってみたいと思った

And I thought even one would like to create a unique mask.

コミック誌を真似て描く② "Comic magazine is imitated and drawn(2)."

 ずいぶんたくさんのコミック誌を読みました

僕が絵を描きたいと思ったのは、こんなコミック誌に影響を受けているからだと思います

I think it's because it's affected in such comic magazine, that I thought I'd like to draw a picture.

雪の結晶なども描き加えてみました/Crystal of snow has been drawn and added.

ラフカディオハーンの小説にも登場します「雪女です」

I also appear on a novel(In ghostly Japan.) of Lafcadio Hearn, "Snow fairy."

お月さまを追加し魔女が飛んでる背景を造りました

Witch & Moon added. made a flying background.

原画は次のシーンからですが

An original is from the next scene.

家族を浮かび上がるように描き、配色も可愛らしく変更しました

The family was drawn so that I might appear and the coloring was also changed prettily.

こういう作業って結構楽しくて、気分転換になります

The work which draws such picture will be fun and be change in pace.

誰もいない海 "The Sea where no one is here!"

沖縄でも冬の海は少しグレーな感じがする

Little gray feeling also does a winter sea in Okinawa.

と思ったら、周りを見回したらやっぱり人がたくさんいるとこを見つけました

If I thought so, if the turn was surveyed, the place where I have many people as expected was found.

ここはブルーが少し濃い

Blue is little dark here.

ドンドン温かくなって、真っ青になると、南の島もそれらしくなってくる

When a sea becomes warm gradually, and becomes deep blue, a southern island is also coming to seem to be that.

早く普通の生活を取り戻したいですね

You'd like to take back an ordinary life early, right?

桜が咲き始めたよ "cherry tree has begun to bloom."

北の皆様方はまだ雪深い地方も多いと思います

Northern everybody thinks the deep area is also still snowy.

 梅の花が咲いている地域もありますよね

 There is also an area where Plum trees is in bloom, isn't there?

僕の家の近くの公園では緋寒桜が咲きもう満開近くになっています

Taiwan cherry is in bloom and is already near the full bloom at a park near my house.

ピンクの花がいっぱい咲いて、僕の書斎の窓からも望遠レンズで写真を撮ることができます

Pink flower blooms much, and it's also possible to take a picture by a telephoto lens from a window of my study.

メジロも桜の木に来て、春の風が吹きそうです

White-eye Bird's also comes to the cherry tree tree, and the style of the spring seems to blow.

今頃大学や高校の受験真っただ中で、COVID-19のせいで大変な思いをされている受験生の皆さん

Everyone of the student preparing for taking an examination doing serious concern by a cause of COVID-19 by the taking an examination midst of a university and a high school now.

皆さんのもとに早く「サクラ咲く(合格通知)」が届きますように

So that I may receive "the (pass notice) by which a cherry tree blooms" early under everyone.
