真夏の夜に " On a Midsummer Night. "

今年はやはりとても暑い夏になりました。

This year, it was a very hot summer.

暑い日が続く夜は、やはり心を解放されたいですね

On nights when hot days continue, I want to release my mind.

僕の街でも久しぶりの花火大会があって、たくさんの若者が集まってきました。

Even in my city, there was a fireworks display for the first time in a long time, and many young people gathered.

この夏もまたCOVID-19が蔓延を続け、すっきりしない日々が続いていますが、素敵な明日を期待して、頑張りましょうよ。

This summer is once again plagued by COVID-19 and some of the less refreshing days ahead, but let's hope for a nice tomorrow and do our best.

 

大都会、大阪 " Osaka, a big city "

大都会「大阪」

Big city "Osaka"

先日も投稿したけど、この街のシンボル「大阪城」を空から撮影

As I posted the other day, I took a picture of the symbol of this city "Osaka Castle" from the sky.

すぐ近くには街を映すミラーガラスの高層ビル

In the immediate vicinity is a high-rise building with mirror glass reflecting the city.

不思議な風景ですね

It's a strange scenery.

この街は古くから商業で栄えた街。　

This city has prospered from commerce since ancient times.

僕が最初に大阪で仕事をした頃には高いビルといえば、大阪駅の近くにある"丸ビル(茶色のビル)"しか無かった、でも今は周りに高層ビルディングが林立している。

When I first worked in Osaka, the only tall buildings were the "Maru Building "(brown building) near Osaka Station, but now there are many high-rise buildings around it.

少し離れた南側の天王寺という場所に、今は日本一高いビル「あべのハルカス」がある。

A little further away in the place called Tennoji Temple on the south side, there is now the tallest building in the Japan, "Abeno Harukas".

東京には日本で一番高い電波塔「スカイツリー」があるけれど、ここも周りには高いビルが少ないので、孤高のビルですね。

In Tokyo, there is the Sky Tree, the tallest radio tower in the Japan, but there are few tall buildings around here, so it is a solitary building.
 

都会と田舎 " Urban and rural "

今日はわが田舎町、宮崎市と都会の大阪市を紹介します。

Today, I would like to introduce our rural town, Miyazaki City, and the urban city of Osaka.

最初の写真は手前に宮崎県総合運動公園、と左側の海岸が来崎浜と言ってサーフィンの世界大会が行われる場所です、向こう側に観光地で有名な青島があります。

The first photo is of the Miyazaki Prefectural Sports Park in the foreground, and the coast on the left is called Kisakihama and is the place where the surfing world competition is held, and on the other side there is Aoshima, which is famous for its sightseeing spots.

見えている球場は、冬には読売巨人軍がキャンプをします。

The ballpark in view is where the Yomiuri Giants camp in winter.

次の写真は同じく、オリックスバッファローズがキャンプをするソッケンスタジアムが写っています。

The next photo also shows Sokken Stadium, where the Orix Buffaloes are camping.

次は大阪・・・・どのあたりでしょうか、久宝寺緑地ですね。

次は大阪のど真ん中、中の島辺りを撮っているのですが、高いビルがとても多いですね。

やはり人口密度がとても高い場所です。

最後は宮崎ブーゲンビリア空港へのアプローチ中、宮崎市外地が見えてますが高いビルはほとんどありません。

Finally, while approaching Miyazaki Bougainvillea Airport, you can see the outer area of Miyazaki City, but there are almost no tall buildings.

 

緑豊かな田舎町です。

It is a leafy country town.

でも、心に余裕をもって穏やかに暮らせる街なんですよ。

However, it is a city where you can live peacefully with plenty of room in your heart.

時代を超えて「大阪城」 " Timeless "Osaka Castle" "

  大阪城が最初に築城されたのは西暦1585年。 

  Osaka Castle was first built in 1585 AD. 

実に437年も前のことです。

That was 437 years ago.

大阪という大都市の真ん中で、このような異様を誇っています。

In the middle of the big city of Osaka, we boast such a strange thing.

お濠の周りは、このような現代の高層ビルが林立しています。

Around the moat, such modern high-rise buildings stand out.

不思議と戦国時代と現代がそこにあるんです。

Strangely, the Sengoku period and the present day are there.

400年以上前に、壮大な夢を描いていた人が、人の力だけで建築されたこの城。

More than 400 years ago, this castle was built by people who dreamed of grand dreams only by the power of man.

その時代の人々の技術の総意がここにつぎ込まれたのだと思います。

I think that the consensus of the technology of the people of that era was poured into this.

大阪城公園の中の森、この城の建築前はもっと深い森だったと思います

The forest in Osaka Castle Park, I think it was a deeper forest before the construction of this castle.

こんな場所に巨大な城と中には金銀の贅をつくした品物も、人の背丈ほどある金の鯱に獲物を狙う金の虎、当時の権力を示すように設置されたのでしょうね。

In such a place, a huge castle and some extravagant items of gold and silver were also set up to show the power of the time, a golden tiger aiming at prey on a golden carp about the height of a person.

時代を超えて、大阪の街を見守っていてくれたのでしょうか?

ハワイの友人へ「ご無沙汰してます、お元気ですか?」 " To my friend in Hawaii, "I'm sorry, how are you?" "

日本の航空会社もハワイへの定期路線を再開したようですね。

長いこと行けてなかったハワイ、やはり早く行きたいんです。

左の横顔が僕、太っちょの彼は母親が両親が沖縄出身でハワイで苦労されたらしい。

The profile on the left is me, the fat guy whose mother is from Okinawa and seems to have had a hard time in Hawaii.

彼は、少し古い話だけど日本のサーフィン誌でも紹介されるような有名なサーファーだったんだ。

He was a famous surfer, a bit old-fashioned, but one of the most famous surfers featured in Japan surfing magazines.

Pictures from when they were introduced to the magazine... Kinda old.

彼が僕の泊まっているホテルに迎えに来て、俺の家に泊まれとホテルをキャンセルし彼の家に1週間お世話になった。

He picked me up at the hotel where I was staying, cancelled the hotel to stay at my house, and stayed at his house for a week.

彼の母親の店(大きなドライブイン)でお世話になり、そこでお手伝いをしながらハワイの休日を過ごした。　お母さんホントにお世話になりました。

He took care of his mother's shop (a big drive-in) and spent his Hawaiian holidays there helping out.　Your mother really took care of you.

綺麗な別荘のような家で僕は彼の持ってるロングボード(４０本くらいあった)の立ててある部屋に寝泊まりしました。

In a beautiful villa-like house, I slept in a room with a longboard (there were about 40 of them) that he had.

今度行くときはお土産いっぱい持っていきます(#^^#)

空港と飛行機 " Airports and airplanes "

最近は飛行機もたくさん飛び始めましたね。

Recently, started flying a lot of airplanes.

これは大阪(伊丹)国際空港

映画のキャラクターを機体に描いた飛行機を見つけるのも楽しみですね。

以前は教授や教官と仲良くさせてもらってました。

最近新しい機体に変わっています。

ここから世界の空を飛び回るエアラインの機長候補も排出されるんですね(#^^#)

梅雨の季節に・・・これが終わると夏が来る " In the rainy season, when this is over, summer will come. "

7月3日、猛暑日が続いています。

On July 3, the hot days continued.

今年は梅雨明けが早すぎて、この時期の良さがあまりつたえられなかった。だから

梅雨の季節はとてもじめじめして暮らしづらい季節ですが、植物は意外と生き生きしています、滴る水滴も綺麗に見えます。

The rainy season is very dank and difficult to live in, but the plants are surprisingly alive, and the dripping water droplets look beautiful.

梅雨の終わりに写真を撮りました、失敗作ですが、ピンボケの花が意外な効果を生み出していると思いませんか?

I took a picture at the end of the rainy season, it is a failed work, but don't you think that the out-of-focus flowers are creating an unexpected effect?

川辺に住むアオサギも濡れた羽を繕っています。 

The heron that lives by the river also mends wet feathers. 

野良猫も草むらで何かを狙っているようですが・・・。

神戸の街 " The city of Kobe "

もう6月も終わってしまいますね

It's already over in June.

梅雨の季節だけど、梅雨が終わったら夏です。

It's the rainy season, but when the rainy season is over, it's summer. 

神戸の街は仕事をしていたから、飛行機から眺めた街の写真はあるのですが

I was working in the city of Kobe, so there are pictures of the city that I saw from the plane.

六甲山から眺めた写真は少ないんです

There are not many photos I saw from Mount Rokko.

だから今日はロープウェイのゴンドラからの眺めを

So today we will take a view from the ropeway gondola

去年の夏、阪急三ノ宮駅のホテル「レムプラス神戸三宮」からロープウェイのある方向を撮ったのですが麓駅とグラスハウスは写っていました。

Last summer, I took a picture of the direction where the ropeway is from the hotel "Rem Plus Kobe Sannomiya" at Hankyu Sannomiya Station, and the foothill station and the glass house were photographed.

今年、ゴンドラからホテル方面を撮ってますが右側の茶色い高層ビルがホテルで

真ん中奥の方に市役所も写っていますね。

最後の写真は新神戸駅の前あたりが写っています

 神戸にいったらやはり港ですね。

 If you go to Kobe, it's a port after all.

お船を観ようと神戸駅からハーバーランドへ向かいます

すると、可愛い石像も迎えてくれます。

やっぱりいましたね「アンパンマン」

After all, there was "Anpanman"

振り向くと駅の横にガラス張りの大きなビルが見えます

When you turn around, you can see a large glass building next to the station.

あそこは僕が働いていたオフィスがありました

There was an office over there where I worked.

港に着いたら、僕が乗りたいなと思っていた、遊覧船「コンチェルト」が出航しようとしているところでした。

When I arrived at the port, the pleasure boat "CONCERTO" that I wanted to ride was about to sail.

でも、向こう側にぼくが一番好きな帆船「日本丸」が停泊していました

However, there was a sailing ship "Nihon Maru" that I liked the most on the other side.

この船、僕は手作りの模型を作ったり、いろんな場所で写真を撮ってきたから、すでに何度も記事にしていますよ(^_-)-☆

I've made handmade models of this ship and taken pictures in various places, so I've already written about it many times.

僕はビジネスマン兼時々農夫です " I'm a businessman and sometimes a farmer. "

僕は東京・大阪といった大都会をベースに仕事をしてきた

I've been working in big cities like Tokyo and Osaka.

2020年からCOVID-19が蔓延しているせいで、田舎の自宅にいることが多くなった

Since 2020, COVID-19 has been rampant, so I've been more likely to stay at home in the countryside.

それで今力を尽くしていることは、自宅の庭で野菜や果物を育てていること

So what I'm doing now is growing vegetables and fruits in my garden.

これはキュウリ、もうすぐ食べられるね・・・楽しみだ 

This is a cucumber, I'll eat it soon... I'm looking forward to it. 

次はブルーベリー、庭に3本のブルーベリーの木があって先月から徐々に実が熟成してきたので美味しくいただいてます。　甘いんです(#^^#) 

Next is blueberries, and there are three blueberry trees in the garden, and the fruit has gradually matured since last month, so it is delicious.　It's sweet (#^^#) 

ミニトマトも先月から収穫を初めて、これもいろいろと工夫をしているので甘くできてます

Mini tomatoes are also harvested for the first time from last month, and this is also sweetened because we are devising various ideas.

この時期、庭のヤマモモの木に大きな実がたわわになっています

これも甘くて美味しい。　去年はモモ酒を作り1瓶貯蔵してます

At this time of year, a large fruit is sagging on a yam tree in the garden.

This is also sweet and delicious.　Last year I made fruit wine and stored one bottle.

また、去年から実っているのがぶどう。

In addition, grapes have been fruiting since last year.

買って食べたブドウの種を庭に捨てていたら、すくすくと育って、去年初めて実をつけて、今年はたくさんできて、実に保護用の袋を買って来てかぶせました、しばらくしたら食べれるようになるでしょう。

If I throw away the grape seeds you bought and ate in the garden, they will grow quickly, you will bear fruit for the first time last year, this year you will be able to produce a lot, and you will be able to eat it after a while, because you bought a protective bag and put it on.

苦瓜(ゴーヤ)も3本苗を買って来て飢えてます。夏には美味しい料理を楽しめると思います

I also bought three bitter gourd seedlings and am starving. I think I can enjoy delicious food in the summer.

このほかに、ナスも花をつけています。

In addition to this, eggplants also have flowers.

秋には柿が沢山収穫できますし、冬から春にかけては2種類のミカンが収穫できます。

I can harvest a lot of persimmons in autumn, and you can harvest two kinds of tangerines from winter to spring.

今、レモンとキンカンに挑戦中、まだ実はつけていません。

Right now, I'm trying lemon and kumquat, and I haven't really put it on yet.
