僕の好きな街 和歌山 "My favorite town Wakayama"

最初の写真は和歌山港と向かいの四国、徳島港を結ぶ南海フェリー

The Nankai ferry with which the first picture ties Shikoku of Wakayama harbor and the other side and Tokushima harbor.

場所は紀の川河口の和歌山港入り口です

Place is Wakayama harbor entrance of the Kinokawa mouth of a river.

僕もこのフェリーで四国へ２度、渡航しました

I took a trip to Shikoku twice by car by this ferry, too.

次は和歌山市の南に位置する雑賀崎漁港

Saikazaki fishing port where the next is located in the south of Wakayama-city.

ここには僕がお世話になったヤマハのボートショップがあります

 Boat shop of Yamaha kind to me is here here.

次の写真は浪早崎の山の上

The next picture is a mountain in Namihayasaki.

どんなに細い道でも自転車で上がっていきました、写真は雑賀崎の防波堤です

 The picture up which I also went by bicycle on the however thin way is a breakwater in Saikazaki.

海の景色が良くて、飽きない場所です

The scenery of the sea is wonderful and is the place where I don't get tired.

あの島の周辺もボートで生きました、向こう側にはスッキリ晴れていれば淡路島が見えます

When also clears day on the other side where I lived by boat around that island, Awajishima is seen. 

道しるべが見えますが、向こうの右側が雑賀崎、ここは波早﨑

Signpost is seen, that right side, Saikazaki and here, Namihayazaki

次に田ノ浦港があります

Next there is Tanoura harbor.

木々の合間から田ノ浦港(漁港)が見えます

Tanoura harbor (fishing port) is seen from the intervals of the trees.

向こうに山が見えますが章魚頭婆山、海抜130mくらいの山なんですが、和歌山市と海南市が一望できます

They see a mountain, but they're Mt. Shyogyotouba of about 130 m of sea level, you can get a bird's-eye view of Wakayama-city and Kainan-city.

I wish for the south side in the Wakayama city from an observatory in the top of Mt. Shyogyotouba.

次の写真(東側)、手前側が和歌浦港、向こうの湾のようになっているのが和歌川の河口

The mouth of a river where the one by which the next pictures (the east side) and near sides are Wakaura harbor and that bay is a Waka-river

向こうのこんもりとした山のふもと付近に、あの有名な紀三井寺が見えます

Famous Kimii-dera(Temple) is seen around the base in that mountain.

次の写真で拡大すると森の中に見えるのが、西国33番札所の内、第二番札所です

When it expands with the next picture, it's at among the Saigoku 33rd tag place and the second tag to seem in the forest.

たしか歴史は約１３００年ほどの歴史があります

There is probably history for about about 1300 years for history.

北側を望むと、和歌山港や花王の工場、和歌山北港、新日鐵住金の工場が見えます、実はね僕の働いていた会社も見えるんですが(ナイショです)

When I wish for the north side, Wakayama harbor and Kao's-factory, Wakayama north harbor and shinnittetsusumikin are seen, the company where I was working actually is also seen (It's a secret.)

手前の川の河口には、和歌山藩の別邸「養翠園」「水軒公園」があります

There is a villa of Wakayama feudal clan "Yousuien" "Suiken(water house) park" in a mouth of a river on the front river.

もちろんここから、和歌山城や僕がよく利用するホテル(茶色いビル)、県庁、市役所なども見えます.

Wakayama-jo(Castle), the hotel I often use (brown building), the prefectural office and the city office are seen from here of course.

ここは見晴らしがいいので、猛禽類の鷲や鷹なども多数生息しています

It's with a view here, so many eagles and hawks of birds of prey kinds lives.

ここに記念碑もあり、朝日、夕日100選の場所と記されています

That have a monument and it's recorded with the location of 100 elections of the morning sun and declining sun.

台湾シリーズ④ 九份 "Taiwan series(4) Jiufen"

今日は九份

台湾へ観光旅行に行く人はここに行っている人が多いので、取り立てて紹介する必要はないかもしれないけど

Today, Jiufen

There are a lot of people who go here, so the person who travels Taiwan in tourism may not have to collect and introduce.

最初の写真は九份から撮った端浜付近です

The first picture is around the coast taken from Jiufen.

標高は海抜300mを超えるくらいの場所ですが、晴れていれば海が綺麗に見える場所です

An altitude is the place which is to the extent sea level 300m is exceeded, but when clearing up, a sea is the place which looks clean.

台湾らしい中国式建築物が多数あります

There are many Chinese buildings appropriate for Taiwan.

様々な装飾を施した屋根がとてもいい雰囲気です

 The roof which did various decoration is the very good atmosphere.

次の写真のずっと向こうというか、直線距離で10kmくらい先に基隆港があります

Whether you say far over the next picture has Keelung harbor in about 10 km destination by the linear distance.

写真を撮影した時は、なぜか薄靄がかかっていたので、残念ですが基隆あたりまでは見通せませんでした

 When taking a picture, a light haze hung over for some reason, so I'm sorry, but you couldn't look through to Keelung vicinity.

老街付近まで、観光客の人だかりで、急な階段はちょっと危険な場所です、事故にご注意ください

Steep stairs even are a slightly dangerous place by tourist's crowd around the old street, please be careful about an accident.

あの建物、あのアニメ映画で出てくる建物に似てるけど違うな

Be similar to that building and the building left by that animated movie but don't be different.

こちらがあの、有名なアニメ映画「千と千尋の神隠し」のモデルになった建物ですね

 This is the building where you acted as a model of that famous animated movie "Spirited Away ", 

まだ日が暮れていませんでしたので、その雰囲気が出ていません

 It has not drawn in yet, so it doesn't seem to be its atmosphere.

このあたりから、食堂街やお土産物屋が多数あって、観光客で常に混んでいます

 There are many restaurant streets and gift shops from this part, and it's always crowded with a tourist.

僕はね、本当は混んだ場所、あまり好きじゃないんです、人混みを抜けて駐車場に戻ります

 We're a crowded place and the one I don't like so much actually, it passes through a crowd, and I return to a parking lot.

屋根の上でのんびりとしていた猫、

The cat sprawled on the roof.

台湾シリーズ② 野柳 "Taiwan-Series(3) Yeliou"

今日は台湾シリーズで予告をしていた「野柳」の風景、奇岩群です

Today is the landscape of "Yeliou" to which I was giving a notice by a Taiwanese series and a peninsular strangely shaped rock cluster.

最初の写真は女性のお尻を撮っているわけじゃなく、あの中央の岩、これはこの野柳で最も有名な「女王の頭」

Rock in that center where the first picture is taking the female bottom, not a reason and the "queen's head" as which this is most famous by this field willow

ここは、波の荒い海岸(半島の途中)なので、この姿、あと１００年は持たないだろうといわれています

This is the coast where waves are rough (While it's a peninsula.), so it's said that they wouldn't have these form and 100 years more.

だから半島入り口の公園に実物大のレプリカがあります

So there is a replica of the size of original in a park at the peninsula entrance.

野柳の場所をGoogle-Earthで見るとこんな感じ、基隆港から北西方向10kmくらいのところです

That the location of the field willow is seen in Google - Earth, such, it's felt and it's at about 10 km of northwestward from Keelung harbor.

日本の最西端の与那国島からは約150kmくらい、あの領地問題のある尖閣諸島から約200kmの場所です

It's about about 150 km of about 200 km of place from Senkaku-Islands  with that territory problem from Yonakunijima in the Japanese westernmost tip.

次の写真はGoogle-Earthで見ると緑の木のマークがある辺りです。

When it's seen in Google - Earth, the next picture is the vicinity with a green wooden mark.

奇岩が集中して存在してて、「女王の頭」は左端に写っています

Strangely shaped rocks concentrates and exists, and "queen's head" comes out in the left end.

ここは沖縄と同様、台風の通過点でもあり、その荒波がこの奇岩の異形を造っています

This is also a passage point of a typhoon like Okinawa, and the raging wave is making deformity of this strangely shaped rock.

撮影した日には多数の観光客であふれており、有名な奇岩の岩には人だかりができて、どうしても人の姿が写り込んでしまいます

It's flooded with a lot of tourists on the day of which I took a picture, and a crowd forms before a rock of a famous strangely shaped rock, and the form of the person comes out absolutely, and is crowded.

この日は波静かな日でしたが、大型台風が来ると、ここを全て多い尽くす程の高波が来ているということです。

This day was a too waveless day, that a Big typhoon comes, here, it's a lot all, it's said that Takanami who is to the extent he renders service, has come.

港側の防波ブロックの様子をみていただければ、ご理解いただけるでしょうか?

When you'd see the state of the prevention wave block on the harbor side, would you be able to understand?

１００年経ったら、「女王の頭」は無くなってしまうかもしれないけど、また何かに似た奇岩が生まれるかもしれないですね

"Queen's head" may disappear in 100 years also a strangely shaped rock similar to something may be born.

次の写真は像岩、像が泳いでいる様です

Elephant rock and an image seem to be swimming the next picture.

丸い形の甌穴も多数あるようです

There also seem to be many potholes with the round shape.

次は、亀岩

Next is a Turtle-Rock.

これらの奇岩、これから長い年月が経つとどんな形に変化していくのか楽しみですね

When these strangely shaped rocks and the years when it'll be long now have passed, it's pleasant what kind of shape it's changing into, isn't it?

撮影日は潮が引いた状況でしたが、満ち潮で波があるときは、すごくダイナミックな感じがして、怖いくらいだろうと思いました

 Photo date was the situation that the tide ebbed, but when there was a wave by a high tide, I thought very dynamic feeling was to the extent it was done, and was afraid.

最後に、公園を出てすぐに、自然の奇岩「獅子岩」がありました

Went out of the park at the end, and immediately, there was a natural strangely shaped rock "Lion-rock".

さて、次は十份か九份の予定です

 next, Shifen or Jiufen,

手作り帆船メイキング「日本丸」/Homemade sailboat making "Nipponmaru"

横浜の「みなとみらい」に展示してある帆船「日本丸」

The sailboat exhibited in "Minatomirai" in Yokohama "Nipponmaru"

僕にとっては「日本丸」は「白く美しい貴婦人」

For me, "Nipponmaru", "white and beautiful lady"

ずっと、以前からこの船の模型を造りたいと思った、キットモデルも売っているけど、キットで　30000円以上とモデルとしては高価な上に、組み立て制作時間が標準で300時間とある

The kit models who thought they would like to make a model of this ship from before sell them, too, but it's much expensive as more than \30,000 ($300) and a model by a kit and assembly production time is standard and is here with 300 hours.

僕は自分の家にある不用品を利用して、手作り品の制作に、この夏(7月)にスタートした

I have started at this summer (Top of July) in production of homemade items using the disused article in my house.

写真をみて判りますか、ボディは不要になった発砲樹脂の箱を切り出して利用

マストは、高級の弁当などについている竹の箸を組み合わせて作成

デッキは、高級菓子や贈答品の木箱を利用しました

Is a picture seen and understood, a body cuts a box of the fire resin which became unnecessary down and uses it.

A mast combines and makes chopsticks of the bamboo which sticks to a luxury box lunch.

A deck used a luxury snack and a wooden box of presents.

自宅にある材料の量から推察して3隻制作を始め、まず試作品1隻に取り組んだ、もちろん各パーツすべて手作り

I infered from the amount of the material in the home, began 3 ships of production and worked on 1 sampler first, all each parts are homemade of course.

錨も、手作り、サイズは10mm程度

Anchors, making by hand and the size are about 10 mm.

錨を繋ぐチェーンは、100円ショップで買った装飾用のネックレスを利用

The chain with which an anchor is connected uses \100($1) of necklace for ornament bought at a shop.

 

マストに付けている梯子は、ミカンなどの入っているネット袋をカット して梯子に見えるように作り上げた。

The ladder which is being put on the mast was completed so that I might cut a net bag which contains an orange and see as a ladder.

セールも100円ショップで買った白い布をカットして作成

The white cloth \100($1) of sale also bought at a shop is cut and made.

作成をスタートして、丁度一か月目に1隻目が完成

(夏休みに帰省する娘と1か月程度で完成させると約束をしていた)

The 1st ship will start making, and is completed in the first month exactly.

(I promised to complete it in about 1 month with my daughter who returns home in the summer holidays.)

購入したのは、大半が100円ショップで買った材料で、ステンレスの細い針金、墨糸、水性塗料、接着剤に小さな釘、テープ類、竹串、等、費やした費用は3隻分で約4000円

Small nail, tape kinds, Takegushi and a spent cost are for 3 ships in stainless thin wire, marking string, water-based paint and glue by the material \100($1) of most part bought at a shop for buying it, about \4,000 ($40).

縮尺サイズは約　1/170

The reduced scale size is about 1/170.

仲のいい医師の友人に見せたら、「素晴らしい出来栄え」と誉めてくれたけど

1隻目はあくまでも試作品、いろいろな問題点が見つかった、

If it was shown to the doctor's friend with I'm on good terms, you praised with "the wonderful workmanship".

The 1st sampler and various problems were found to the end.

マストを張る帆柱、帆の造作、縮尺モデルとして多数の不満な場所を見つけた

Lot's of dissatisfied places were found as building and a reduced scale model of the mast and the sail on which a mast is stuck.

8月後半から改良型の帆船作成(2隻目)に取り組む

I work on sailboat making of the improvement type (the 2nd ship) from the second half August.

特に帆の作成には悩みました

I suffered from making of a sail in particular.

それに船首部分の安全ネットの造作(この白いネットに何を使ったか皆さんには判るかな?)

And building of safety net in a bow (Does everyone know what was used for this white net?)

本当に帆の作成は悩みました、僕は「白い貴婦人」美しさを決めるポイントでもあると考えた。

I thought making of a sail was also the point by which the "white lady" who worried decides beauty really.

一隻に29枚も使用する帆は、布を2重にして糸で手縫いして形を 整えることにしました

そしてデッキの上の構造物も、実際の船に近づくように部品を増やしました

A part was increased as the sail 29 for one ship also use decided to make the cloth double, do hand sewing by thread and arrange the shape and a structure on the deck might also approach an actual ship.

どうですか? 最初の一隻目と比べればグレードアップできたと思うのですが

How is it? I think it could be upgraded compared with the first first ship.

帆のカットと手縫いで形を整え、マストに取り付けを行います

The shape is arranged by a cut of a sail and hand sewing and it's installed in the mast.

どうですか? 1隻目と2隻目の出来栄えの違いは理解していただけますか

How is it? Could you understand the difference in the workmanship of the 1st ship and the 2nd ship?

制作開始から3か月経過しています 

It has passed for 3 months from production starting.

船体のデザインが寂しかったので、ここに「遊び心」を付加して、「人魚」と「イルカ」をデザインしてみました。

The design of the hull was deserted, so "youthful spirit" was added and "seamaid" and "dolphin" were designed here.
