あの地震の前は、よく熊本城に行ってました
It was being often performed in Kumamoto-jo(Castle) before an earthquake.

お城前の大広場、観光客であふれていたんです
A large square in front of the castle and the one flooded with a tourist.
今は復旧のための大工事中です

次が通常の倍率で撮ってます、向こうに親戚の住まいがあります
Next is the usual magnification and there is a residence of a relative on the other side which is being taken.
天守閣から城の西側を撮ってます、向こうの山は金峰山
The pile of the they taking the west side of the castle from a donjon is Mt.Kinpo.
南西方面を撮っています、こちら側に熊本駅があります
There is Kumamoto station on this side where the southwestern end is being taken.
この写真を撮影したのは5月だったと思います、城内に牡丹園があってね、この時はとても綺麗に咲いていました
There was a floral garden of a peony in the inside of the Castle where I think it was May that this picture was taken, and it bloomed very beautifully at the same time.
